Goodluck Industries, Sikandrabad

Our factory is located in the U.P.S.I.D.C Housing Colony within the industrial area of Sikandrabad. We are specifically at plot B-31(H). It is a busy place in the Bulandshahr district, and you can always hear the sound of machinery from the other units nearby. Goodluck Industries has been here for a long time. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, as you’d expect from an industrial zone in Uttar Pradesh. We have a lot of local workers who come in every morning from the surrounding villages. The office part is just a small room attached to the main shed. We keep things pretty simple around here. There is no fancy furniture or polished floors. We are focused on the production and making sure the machines are running as they should. Sometimes the electricity cuts out, and everything goes quiet for a bit until the generators start up. We eat our lunch together in the small shaded area outside when the weather is nice. It is hard work, but we are used to it. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an order. Most of our business is done face-to-face or over a quick phone call. We are just a local industry trying to keep things moving and providing work for the people in this colony. That's really all there is to our story here.
