Dlf-Laing ORourke India Ltd is tucked away over in Nilothi Extension. Specifically, you can find us at A-33, Himgiri Enclave in Chander Vihar. It’s near Kikar Wala Chowk, which is a pretty well-known landmark if you're trying to find your way around this part of New Delhi. The streets around here can get a little crowded, especially during the morning rush, so we usually try to get in early. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We’ve got a lot of files piled up and the printer usually makes a weird noise when it’s trying to warm up. We just deal with it though. People around the neighborhood are nice enough. Sometimes we go out near the chowk to grab a quick bite during lunch. It’s a lot of mundane stuff like filling out forms and talking on the phone with suppliers or partners. We don’t have those fancy coffee machines you see in movies, just a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of us have lived in Delhi for years, so we’re used to the heat and the noise. We just keep at it and try to stay on top of the pile of work on our desks every single day.
