Out in V.P.O. Barwali, things move at their own pace. That’s where Khusboo New Medicine Product Limited Company is based. We aren’t a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a local team working out of a building that’s seen better days but still holds up fine. Our days are filled with looking over medicine products and making sure the distribution side of things is handled. It’s a lot of logistics, really. We spend a good amount of time on the phone with suppliers. The office is practical—lots of shelves, a few old computers, and a kettle that takes forever to boil. We don't have any interest in sounding like we’re changing the world. We’re just trying to provide what’s needed in this area. Barwali is a small place, and everyone sort of knows what everyone else is up to. We like the familiarity of it. If a shipment is late, we know why, and we tell people the truth about it. There’s no point in hiding behind corporate jargon. We’re just regular people working a job. Some days the paperwork feels like it’s going to swallow us whole, but we chip away at it until it's time to head home. It’s simple, it’s a bit messy at times, but it’s ours. We don't need much more than that to keep the business running.
