Om Traders

Om Traders is based at C 28 in Sector 10 of Noida. Being right in the middle of the industrial area means there are always trucks and delivery vans moving around the block. If you are looking for our place, it is one of the rows of buildings near the back of the sector in the G B Nagar district. The office is basically one big room filled with desks and different samples lying around on the tables. It stays a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic in Noida, but we try to give it a good sweep every morning. We talk to a lot of different people from all over U P throughout the week. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking through the inventory that just arrived. We do not have a dedicated person to sit at the front; whoever is not busy just looks up and helps whoever walks in. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is usually when we take a short break to sit and talk. We still have plenty of paper ledgers and boxes of old receipts because we have not moved everything onto the computer yet. It is a bit disorganized to look at, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The fans are always running because it gets quite stuffy in the heat. It is just a plain, hardworking spot for us.
