Transport

I’ve been running this Transport business out of Hno-5-3-1/36 in Aphb Colony for a while now. Kamareddy is a busy place, and being here in the Nizamabad district means there is always something moving. The house is where everything gets sorted out. My neighbors in the colony know when the day starts because they hear the engines and the gates opening early. It’s not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we handle the paperwork and keep track of where the drivers are heading. Mostly we deal with local routes and the nearby towns. The roads around here can get pretty dusty, especially when the weather stays dry for too long. We have a few regular trucks that go back and forth. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and making sure everyone has the right directions. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic on the highway, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. People in the area know where to find us if they have things that need to be moved. I spend a lot of time sitting at the desk or standing out front watching the street. It’s a quiet enough spot in the colony but we stay busy enough to keep moving. There’s always a ledger to fill or a driver coming back with a story about the trip. We just keep at it day after day, year after year, and try to keep the wheels turning on the road.
