Tata Coffee Limited

Started working out here in Brahmanpally Village quite some time ago. It is a quiet place in Tooparan Mandal, mostly. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We spend most of our time dealing with the beans and making sure everything is running okay at the plant. Some days the weather is really hot, and that makes the work a bit slower, but we get through it. People around the district know us because we have been here a while. It isn't a fancy setup. Just a lot of machinery and people who know how to handle the coffee. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay back to get things unloaded. It gets dusty, but that is just part of the job. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We usually just have a quick cup of tea or coffee ourselves before the real work starts. The smell of the beans stays on your clothes even after you go home. My wife says she can tell where I have been just by walking into the room. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the name on the gate. It’s mostly just about getting the coffee ready to go out to wherever it needs to go next. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the shed gets cluttered with bags. That's life here.
