Our place is situated out at S Y No 125/2/1 in Talamadla. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but the space is good for what we do. Zen Distillation Technologies is really just a group of us working on machinery and technical setups. The building itself is pretty plain, surrounded by a lot of open land. Most days are filled with the sound of metal clicking and people discussing how to fix a specific part of a machine. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when the equipment is running. We usually have lunch together in a small corner of the shop where there is a bit of shade. Talamadla is a quiet area for the most part, which lets us focus on the work without too much distraction from the city noise. We don’t really do the whole office culture thing with meetings and presentations. Most of our talking happens right next to the hardware. We might have grease on our hands when someone comes by to visit, but that is just how it is. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact turnoff, so we end up standing out by the road to wave them in. It is practical work and it takes up most of our hours from Monday to Saturday. We like the quiet out here even if the commute is a bit long every day.
