Sri Veerabhadra Agro Industries

Sri Veerabhadra Agro Industries sits out in Ethonda, specifically at Sy No 230/Aa in the Kotagiri area. It’s mostly farmland around us, which makes sense for what we do. We handle a lot of the local crops and processing. The building is large and can get quite dusty when the machines are running full tilt. We start work very early because that’s when the farmers bring their loads in. It’s loud and there’s always something that needs fixing or oiling. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few workers from the village. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old ledgers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out or use the generator. Ethonda is a small place so news travels fast. If someone needs their grain processed, they just bring it down to the gate. We’ve been here in Kotagiri for years. It’s a tough business because you’re always at the mercy of the rain and the seasons. But we like the routine of it. There’s a certain rhythm to the agro life that you don’t get in the city. We aren't looking to change much, just keep the machines running and the farmers happy. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy all year round. The air always smells like harvested grain here.
