Sri Devi Traders

Sri Devi Traders is over in Yellareddy, specifically at Sy No 1571 and H No 3-4-114. It’s a local business through and through. We don’t have a massive warehouse, just our building where we keep everything we need. Most of our day is spent dealing with the local folks who come in and out. Being in Yellareddy, you get to know everyone's face after a while. We keep track of our stock on paper and try to keep things as tidy as we can, even though things get a bit messy when a new delivery arrives. The sun gets really hot here, so the afternoons are usually a bit slower. We sit near the front where there's a bit of a breeze. Our shelves are filled with all sorts of things, and we know exactly where everything is, even if it doesn't look like it to an outsider. There is a lot of counting and re-counting involved in what we do. We start early in the morning when the air is still cool and the town is just waking up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s our living. We’ve been at this spot for a good while and the building has seen better days, but it’s home to our business and we wouldn't have it any other way. Dealing with the daily haulage is just part of the routine.
