You can find us at 2 15 in the Industrial Estate over in Sarangapur. National Agro Engineering Works Sarangapur has been part of this industrial area for quite some time now. We mainly focus on engineering tasks related to agriculture, which means our shop is often filled with bits of farming equipment and heavy iron components. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops, so there is a constant hum of engines and the sound of welding going on nearby. It is a loud place, but we like the energy of it. Our own workshop is pretty rugged. We have heavy benches and old machines that have seen a lot of use but still work perfectly fine for what we need. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or office furniture because we would rather spend it on keeping our equipment in good shape. The floors are concrete and usually have some scrap metal or shavings on them by the end of the day. We get farmers and local suppliers coming in all the time, and we just talk to them plainly about what needs to be fixed or built. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean, but we do not mind the grease. We start our days early when the air is still a bit cool and keep working until the light starts to fade in the estate. It is hard work but it feels right.
