Safi Ahmed

My name is Safi Ahmed and I am based at H. No 1-3-55/9 in Maqdoom Nagar, Armoor. This is in the Nizamabad district of what used to be Andhra Pradesh, but now we are in Telangana. The address hasn't changed though. Armoor is a place where people know each other’s business, and I like it that way. My house is where I do all my work. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning, just a regular home with a ceiling fan that creaks a little bit. I’ve been here for many years and I have seen the children in the neighborhood grow up and start their own lives. I started my small business because I wanted to be my own boss and stay close to my family. Every morning, I sit down and plan out what needs to be finished. Sometimes it is very busy and the phone doesn't stop ringing, and other days it is quiet enough to hear the birds outside. I don't have a big team or a lot of equipment. I just have my experience and a willingness to work hard for anyone who asks for my help. People here in Maqdoom Nagar trust me because they know I’m not going anywhere. I’m just a local man doing what I know best, and that is how I plan to keep it for as long as I can. It is a good way to live and stay connected to my roots. I think that is really important for doing honest work.
