Our office for S Kooheji Contractors Co is in Perkit, which is part of Armur in the Nizamabad district. If you are coming from Hyderabad, it’s a bit of a drive but it’s a good area to be in. The house number is 1-64/6. We mostly do contracting work, which means we are often out at sites rather than sitting behind a desk all day. The office is really just a base for us to keep the tools, the ledgers, and the basic supplies. Perkit is a local spot where everyone kind of knows each other, so we don't need much in the way of marketing. We just do the work and word gets around. The building is a regular house that we've converted into our working space. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have a new project starting and everyone is trying to load up the vehicles at once. Nizamabad heat can be something else, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We handle a variety of local building and maintenance jobs. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We have a few chairs out front where we sit and talk about the day's plans. It’s a friendly place and we try to treat people right without making things more complicated than they need to be for a small local contractor.
