Pragathi Hospital Trust

Our office for the Pragathi Hospital Trust is located at H.No 6-2-110, right on Z.P.P. Road in Subhashnagar. We are directly opposite the SBH bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. This building has been part of the street for a long time. We do a lot of the administrative work here that keeps the hospital functions going. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the files and boxes of records we have to keep. The fans are always whirring overhead to beat the heat. People from the Subhashnagar area often drop in to ask questions or settle some paperwork. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a sleek reception desk. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the table and someone drinking tea near the entrance. The street outside can get quite clogged with parked scooters and people heading to the bank. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times after the monsoon rains, but the old walls are still standing strong. Working in a trust means there’s always something to organize, whether it’s supplies or schedules. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary for the community. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and helping whoever walks through the door with their needs. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of place. We keep the kettle on for anyone who stops by for a chat.
