Sri Gajanand Saw Mill

If you walk down Phulong Road, you will eventually smell the sawdust and hear the machines. That is where Sri Gajanand Saw Mill is. We are right there at 1/1/84/A. It is a dusty place, there is no way around that. Every morning we start the saws and begin cutting through logs of all sizes. The ground is almost always covered in a layer of wood shavings. We have been working on this road for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but the equipment still runs fine. We do not have a fancy office or a showroom; what you see is what you get. There are stacks of timber piled up against the walls and out in the yard. People come in looking for specific cuts of wood for their houses or furniture projects. We talk to them, measure things out, and get to work. It is loud and it is hard on the back, but there is something good about working with your hands all day. When the power goes out, we take a break and sit on the logs outside. Phulong Road is always busy with trucks and people, so there is never a dull moment. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the wood cut right for whoever needs it that day.
