Krishna Saw Mill

There is always a lot of sawdust in the air at our mill on Phulong Road. You can find us at 1/7/620 right there in the Nzb area. We have been cutting wood for a long time and the saws have a very specific scream that you get used to. It is loud work so we don't talk much while the blades are spinning. When we stop for a break the silence feels very heavy. We don't have any polished floors or fancy desks here. Everything is covered in a thin layer of brown dust. The logs come in on big trucks and we spend the day figuring out the best way to slice them up. It is honest work and it makes your muscles sore by the end of the week. Sometimes the wood is stubborn and has knots that break the teeth of the saw. Then we have to stop and fix things which takes time. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the country or anything like that. We just want to do right by the people who come to us. Phulong Road is a busy place and we are just one part of it. Most of the guys working here have been around for years so we are like a family. We drink our tea hot and we go home tired but satisfied with the day.
