Muthyam Nitish Water Plant

We started this water plant here in Subriyal, Armoor because we saw how much the people around house number 2-66 needed a reliable spot for their daily supply. It is a humble setup really. Most mornings start early, usually before the sun is even fully up, just to get the machines running and the filtration started. You can hear the hum of the pumps from down the street when the air is still. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the cans and making sure the floors stay dry, though they never really do. It is a bit of a wet job all day long. My hands are usually wrinkled by lunch from handling the water and the heavy blue jars. We know most of the people who come by here since we are right in the middle of the neighborhood in Nizamabad. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, just talking to neighbors until it kicks back on so we can get back to work. It isn't anything fancy, just a local place where we keep the filters changed and the water moving. People stop their bikes, load up a couple of cans, and head off. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the plant area and a small space to sit for a minute when it gets quiet. It keeps us busy and that is fine by us.
