Meena Idly Cenre

We started Meena Idly Cenre right here at Hno. 7-96 in Mamidipally village. It is a small place, mostly just a kitchen and some space for people to stand and eat. Every morning, we start early, getting the batter ready and steaming the idlys. The steam fills the whole room and it smells like fresh breakfast. We are in the Armoor mandal area, so we get a lot of locals stopping by on their way to work or just folks from around the corner. It is not a big restaurant with waiters and menus. It is more of a place where you just come, get your plate, and eat while it is hot. The chutney is something we make fresh every single day, and sometimes it is a bit spicier than other days depending on the chillies we get from the market. We use the old recipes that have been in the family. It gets pretty crowded around 8 AM. Sometimes we run out of food earlier than expected, especially on weekends. We try to keep things clean but it is a busy spot with a lot of foot traffic. If you are passing through Mamidipally, you cannot miss us. It is just simple food for the neighborhood. No frills, just hot idlys and sambar. We have been at this address for a bit now and the locals know us well. It is a lot of work but we enjoy seeing people eat.
