Sree Sai Ram Rmc

Sree Sai Ram Rmc is situated at Sy No 238/1 238/2 in Mamidipally, right near Mamidipally Vg. Rmc stands for ready-mix concrete, so our whole world revolves around those big rotating drums on the back of trucks. The site is usually quite muddy because of all the water we use to keep the mixers clean and the dust down. It is a very loud place once the batching plant starts up and the gravel and sand are being moved into the hoppers. We have to keep a very tight schedule here because once the concrete is mixed, it has to get to the site before it starts to set. This means there is often a bit of shouting and rushing around to get the drivers on the road. The guys in the control room have to pay close attention to the mix. We have been in Mamidipally for a bit, and the neighbors are used to the heavy trucks rolling through. It is not a job for people who like to stay clean. By the end of the shift, everyone has a bit of concrete splatter on their boots. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When the orders are coming in thick, we are working flat out until the last truck is empty. It’s a tough business but it’s what we know how to do.
