About Jr.Engg Trainee – Metals & Minerals in Nizamabad
We are tucked away in Sasanapadar, which is a small spot you find if you go via Golanthra here in the Ganjam district of Orissa. It’s mostly just us trainees working on the engineering side of things. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, but we stay busy with the day-to-day tasks. Most of us grew up around here or in nearby towns, so we know the area pretty well. The weather gets quite hot in the summers, but the workspace stays okay. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams and learning how the local projects actually get built. It’s not like those big city firms where everyone wears a suit. We wear what’s comfortable for the site and the office. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just take a break until it comes back on. It’s a slow pace compared to some places, but the work is steady. Being a Jr.Engg Trainee means you have to listen more than you talk. We've got a small team, and we all know each other's families. People stop by to chat sometimes. It is just how things are done in this part of Orissa. We try to get the measurements right and keep the paperwork moving along. It is a good way to learn the trade without too much pressure from big bosses in far-off cities. We just focus on what's in front of us and take things as they come.
