Jeevadan Hospital

Jeevadan Hospital is situated on the Nizamsagar Road in Kamareddy, right here in the Nizamabad district. The road is a main one, so we see lots of trucks and cars passing by on their way to other towns. The hospital itself has been around for quite some time now. It’s a large enough building but we always seem to be running out of space for something or other. The floors are made of that grey stone that stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. We have a lot of families coming in from the nearby rural areas. Sometimes they arrive very early in the morning before we’ve even fully opened up. The lobby has those long metal benches that are common in these types of places. It can get quite loud when the place is full of kids and people talking. I usually try to keep the files in order, but it’s a constant battle with all the paperwork that comes through. We have a small garden area in the back but it’s mostly just some weeds and a few hardy plants that don't need much water. The staff here are locals, so we speak the language and know the town well. It’s not a shiny city hospital with glass walls. It’s just a place in Kamareddy where we do our daily jobs and help whoever walks through the door. It stays busy from sunrise to sunset most days.
