R S Bio Briquette Enterprises is out in Jangampally, at Sy No 891/Aa/3. We make fuel briquettes out of agricultural waste like husks and sawdust. It’s a messy job, honestly. There is always a lot of dust in the air, so we wear masks most of the time. We started this because there is so much leftover waste from the farms around Jangampally. We have one main machine that compresses everything into those solid logs. It makes a lot of noise, but it gets the job done. We are a small crew, mostly just local guys who needed work. We don't have a big office, just a small shed where we keep the records. The yard is usually full of raw material waiting to be processed. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to keep everything dry, which slows us down quite a bit. We sell the briquettes to local kilns and small factories that need heat. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a useful product from stuff that usually gets thrown away or burned in the fields. It’s a hard way to make a living, but it feels right.
