Hospitality

This is a small operation out in Mogilpet village. It's under the Mallapoor Mandal in the Karimnagar district. My name is Santhosh and I've been involved in the local hospitality scene here for a bit. It’s not like the big hotels you find in the cities like Hyderabad. Around here, hospitality means making sure people have a place to sit and something decent to eat or a place to stay when they are passing through our part of the state. We don't have a big staff or a fancy uniform. It’s mostly just us and a few local people helping out when things get busy. Life in the village is simple and we try to keep our business that way too. We get a lot of people who are traveling for work or visiting relatives. We don't do a lot of advertising because everyone in the district knows where we are located. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but we manage just fine. We aren't trying to win any awards or get fancy stars. We just want people to feel okay when they are here. It's a lot of cleaning, cooking, and talking to guests. We treat everyone the same whether they are from the next village over or further away. It’s a quiet life most of the time, and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and do our best every day. That is the way we live.
