You can find us at H No-49 in Rameshwar Nagar, which is part of the Bank Colony in Yamuna Nagar. Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. is basically run out of this house. It’s not like those big offices you see in the bigger cities. We have a few rooms set up for the work stuff, but it feels more like a home than a business most of the time. Yamuna Nagar is a decent place to work, though it can get pretty quiet in Bank Colony compared to the main roads. We mostly deal with local projects and people we’ve known for years. There isn't any fancy corporate talk here. If something needs to be fixed, we talk about it over a cup of tea and then we go out to the site and fix it. Our days are filled with checking on material costs and making sure the workers show up on time. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the mail gets delivered to the wrong house down the street, but we deal with it. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just build things. It’s practical, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. The office is just a place to keep the records straight and store our equipment. We like being in a residential area because it keeps things grounded and simple for the whole team. It’s just us doing the daily grind.
