Our shop is at 6 25 288 on Gurbabadi Road. It’s an old industrial stretch and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops along the way. We do a lot of heavy work here, so the place usually sounds like clanking metal and humming motors from the time we open until we lock up at night. Gurbabadi Road is always loud with traffic, which helps drown out some of our noise, I guess. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the machinery without needing much direction anymore. The building is basically one big room with high ceilings and a lot of metal scraps piled up in the corners. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy; if someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes out to see what they need. It gets pretty hot during the summer months since the roof is just corrugated metal, but we have a few big pedestal fans that help a bit. Most of our tools are old but they still work just fine for what we need to get done. We don't worry about the latest gadgets as long as the orders get finished and the customers are satisfied. It’s a straightforward operation here on Gurbabadi Road, no more and no less than a solid day’s work.
