Bantu Laxmi

My place is at H. No. 3-10 in the village of Gargul. This is in the Kamareddy mandal and district. I’ve lived in Gargul my whole life, and everyone here knows the Bantu family. This isn't a big business with a logo or a board of directors. It’s just me, Laxmi, taking care of things from my home. I started doing this because there was work that needed to be finished, and I had the time and the space to do it. Every morning starts with chores around the house before I can get to the main business. The village is small, so news travels fast. If I do a good job, everyone knows. If I'm late with something, everyone knows that too. It keeps me on my toes. The air in Kamareddy is good, and I like being close to my neighbors. We don't have fancy computers or high-speed internet most of the time. I just use a pen and paper to keep track of what’s happening. Sometimes the cows from next door wander too close, but that’s just life in the village. I don't need a lot to be happy, just my health and enough work to stay busy. People know where to find me if they need something. I don't go looking for trouble, I just stay here at house 3-10 and do my part. It is a quiet life, but I enjoy the routine of the seasons and the people who stop by for a chat while they wait.
