Gurudev Rice Industries

Gurudev Rice Industries is located in the Baihar tehsil of the Balaghat district. It is a beautiful area with a lot of greenery, but it can be quite isolated depending on the time of year. We deal with rice, which is the main thing people grow around here. Our mill is where the local farmers bring their harvests when the season is right. It is a noisy place when the machines are running, but it is a good kind of noise because it means we are staying busy. We have a small office attached to the main shed where we keep all the records and paperwork. It is mostly paper and pens here; we do not rely too much on fancy technology because the internet can be a bit spotty this far out. We know almost everyone who comes through our gates. It is a small community, and word travels fast. If we do a good job, people know it. If we make a mistake, they know that too. So we just try to keep things simple and fair for everyone. The seasons dictate how much work we have. During the harvest, we are here late into the night. During the off-season, we spend our time repairing the equipment and getting ready for the next round. It is a cycle we have been part of for a long time. We do not need any big titles or mission statements.
