We are based at 135, W-1 in Gokulpur, which is in the Udaipur area of South Tripura. It is a bit far from the main bustling cities of the mainland, but we like it here. Uttara Contractor Private Limited is basically a local contracting business where we take on whatever building or repair work is needed in the region. Our office is a modest place, nothing like what you would see in a big city. It’s mostly just a spot to keep our tools, some basic furniture, and the paperwork that never seems to end. Working in Tripura has its own set of challenges, especially with the weather and getting materials delivered to this part of the country. We have to be quite resourceful and often find ourselves fixing things in ways that aren't exactly in the manual. We know most of the people around here, and that makes the work a bit more personal. We aren't some huge corporation with fancy offices; we are just local guys who know how to build stuff. We show up, we do the job, and we go home. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes we run behind schedule because of things we can't control, but we always make sure we finish what we started. It is just about being reliable and doing the best we can with the resources we have available to us in Gokulpur. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
