Rakshalekha Foundation

We've been at Nirmal Park in Dhankawadi for some time now. It’s a quiet spot, tucked away in Flat No. 3/3B2 at S. No. 11/B. Usually, you'll find a couple of us here handling the daily paperwork and answering calls. It’s not a big fancy office, just a practical space where we get things done. Most of the people around here know us because we’ve been in this building for a while. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving. We started Rakshalekha Foundation because there seemed to be a lot of stuff that needed sorting out in the neighborhood. It’s mostly just hard work and staying organized. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few dedicated folks who show up every morning. Coffee runs are a big part of our routine. Usually, one of us goes down to the corner stall to get tea for everyone. It’s how we start the day. We deal with various tasks throughout the week. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's slow. That's just how it goes when you're running a foundation from a residential area. We try to keep things simple. No need for complicated systems when a notebook and a pen still work fine. If you’re ever near S. No. 11/B, you might see our small sign. We’re usually there until late afternoon, unless we’re out on the field. It’s a grounded way to work.
