Rachayita Nidhi Limited is located in North Charilam village, which is over in Agartala, West Tripura. Our address is c/o Lt. Surendra Bhadra, right in the 799103 area. Since we are in a village, the atmosphere is quite different from a big city office. We operate as a Nidhi company, which means we deal a lot with small savings and loans among our members. It’s a very local thing. Most people who come to our office are from right here in North Charilam or the nearby villages. We know their families and they know ours. The office is a simple place where we sit down and talk through things with anyone who stops by. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception desk. It’s usually just a couple of us handling the accounts and making sure the records are correct. The work is mostly about trust and keeping good ledgers. Agartala isn't too far, but we stay rooted here in the village. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except on the days when everyone comes in to handle their transactions. We spend a lot of time explaining the rules of the Nidhi to new people who walk through the door. We just want to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved. It’s practical work and it helps the people in our community manage their money in a way they understand. We’re just here doing our bit.
