Nabaprantik Welfare Foundation

Nabaprantik Welfare Foundation operates out of a small village called Kathaltali. If you know the area near Rosevelly Park, we aren't too far from there. The office is actually at Biswajit Debnath's place. It's a quiet part of Agartala, away from the main city rush. Being in a village means we know everyone around us. We see the same faces every morning when we open up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone just shouts from the gate if they need us. We deal with whatever problems the local folks bring to us. It might be about the local school or just someone needing a hand with their documents. We keep things very simple. The post office at Vivaknagar is where our mail goes, and we're under the Amtali police station. Living and working here means we see the struggles people have every day. We aren't some big organization from the city. We are just local people trying to make the village a bit better for everyone. Sometimes we sit out in the yard to talk because the office gets a bit cramped. We don't have much in the way of tech, just the basics to get by. It’s honest work and we do our best with what we have. Most of the time, we’re just happy to be part of the community and help out where it’s needed. It's a slow pace of life but we like it.
