Shri Shyam Traders

Shri Shyam Traders is situated on Vivek Path, very close to the Ghantaghar. This is right in the middle of the local market, so it is always very loud and crowded around us. We are traders, which means we deal with a variety of goods that people in the town need. The shop itself is quite old and doesn't have any of the modern features you might see in a big city store. We have wooden shelves stacked high with products and a small desk where we sit to handle the cash and the books. It’s a family business, and we’ve been at this same spot near the clock tower for years. Most of our customers are people we have known for a long time. We don't do any advertising or have a website; we just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to come in. The street outside is always full of people, cows, and bikes, which can make things feel a bit chaotic. We just focus on our customers and making sure we have what they are looking for. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time because of the narrow streets, but we make do with what we have. It’s a simple way of living and working. We like being near Ghantaghar because it feels like the center of everything. We just keep the business going one day at a time, without any big plans for the future.
