Our place is at 126, Lshwarya Cottage, which is situated near the Sterling Resorts in R.K. Puram, Ooty. Living and working in Ooty is a bit different than the big cities. Everything feels a little slower, and the air is definitely colder. We operate out of this cottage, which gives the whole business a very different feel than a standard retail office. It’s a cozy spot, and we often have to keep the doors shut to keep the chill out. We are involved in the retail side of things, making sure everything is running okay for the stores. Since we are near the resorts, we see a lot of tourists passing by, but our work is mostly behind the scenes. The cottage has a lot of character, with some old wooden floors that creak when you walk on them. We have a small staff, and we all know each other well. We usually have a pot of coffee or tea going all day long to stay warm. The view outside is nice, with lots of greenery and hills, which is a nice break when you’ve been looking at a screen for too long. We don't have a big fancy office setup. It’s just a practical space where we manage our schedules and paperwork. It can get a bit misty in the mornings, which makes getting to work an interesting experience. We like the quiet life up here in the Nilgiris while we handle our retail responsibilities.
