Project Manager

Up here on Garden Road in Ooty, things move a bit differently than they do in the big cities. My place is at 117 B, and that is where I do my work as a project manager. It is a quiet spot, which is good because I have to do a lot of thinking and planning. Sometimes the weather gets a bit misty, and you can't see much out the window, but it's a nice place to be. I handle all sorts of projects for folks around here. It’s mostly about making sure things stay on track and people do what they said they would. I’ve been in this part of Ooty for a while, so I know how the local pace goes. I don't have any big marketing brochures or a fancy website. People just come by 117 B when they need help getting something organized. It’s just me in the office usually. I spend a lot of time on my computer and the phone. Garden Road is a decent area, not too much noise most days. The 643001 area is home to me. I keep the files in order and make sure the schedules don't slip. It isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of coffee. When you do project management, you end up talking to a lot of different people. I like that part of it. It keeps the days from getting boring and keeps me busy all year long.
