Nalapad Residency

The place is right on Wood Cock Road, and it's been sitting here near Rex School for quite a few years now. If you're coming up St. Marys Hill, you can’t really miss the building. It’s just a standard residency where people come to stay when they’re in town for whatever reason. Usually, things are pretty quiet around here except for when the school kids are getting out or when the morning traffic starts to pick up on the hill. We have rooms that we try to keep clean, and there’s always a bit of work to do with the linens and making sure the bathrooms are okay. The lobby isn't fancy, just a desk and some chairs where people wait. Sometimes the weather gets cold and damp up here, so we deal with that as it comes. We’ve got a small staff, mostly local folks who walk in or take the bus. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us running the place day to day. If the bell rings at the front, someone goes to see who it is. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we just fix it. It's a simple operation, nothing too complicated. People seem to find us alright because of the location near the school. We just open the doors in the morning and do what needs doing until the day is over.
