K L C Mani Maligai Shop

Our little maligai shop is situated at 88/A on Mettupalayam Road in Kotagiri. It’s a typical grocery store where we stock all the essentials like rice, spices, and household items. The air in Kotagiri can be quite cool, so the shop often feels like a cozy refuge for people out doing their errands. We’ve been serving the local community here for a long time, and we’ve seen a lot of changes on Mettupalayam Road over the years. The shelves are always full, and I try to keep everything organized, though it gets a bit messy during the morning rush. We don't have self-checkout lanes or fancy scanners; we just do things the old-fashioned way. It’s just a family-run place where we know most of our customers by their first names. Sometimes the kids come in after school for a small treat, and it’s nice to see their faces. We work long hours to make sure we’re open when people need us, but we don't mind the hard work.
