Deekshen Builders

Our office is at No 2 on the 1st floor of the building on Church Hill Road in Ooty. We are right near the ICICI Bank, so most people find us without too much trouble. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for what we need. We spend most of our time out on the roads anyway, checking on foundations and talking to the crews. Deekshen Builders isn't a huge company with a bunch of secretaries. It’s mostly just me and a few guys I’ve known for years. We do a lot of the standard residential work you see around Ooty. The terrain here is tricky, and you have to know how to handle the drainage so the houses don't get damp. I usually have mud on my boots and a pen that’s run out of ink. That’s just how it is when you’re actually doing the work. We’ve been at this for a good while. The office is a place to keep the files and meet people when it's raining too hard to be outside. We don't have any polished speeches or brochures. We just talk about the job and what needs to be done. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s kept us busy for years. If you need to find us, just look for the bank and walk up the stairs.
