D. R. C. Farms

D. R. C. Farms is located up in the hills at Kookkal, near the Kagguchi Post. Our main building is No. 6/529, which we call Drc House. It’s a beautiful spot but can be a bit of a drive to get to if you aren't used to the local roads. We spend our days out on the land, taking care of the crops and the animals. It’s a traditional farm, so there isn't much in the way of high-tech gadgets or fancy offices. We just wake up early and do what needs doing. Sometimes the fog gets so thick you can't see the end of the field, but we know the terrain well enough by now. Living and working in the same place means the work never really stops. We handle everything ourselves, from planting to harvesting and getting things ready for the market. It’s a simple existence but it can be quite tiring. We don't have any big slogans or flashy brochures to show people. Usually, if someone wants to know what we have, they just stop by Drc House and ask. We prefer doing things face-to-face when we can. The weather up here determines our schedule more than anything else does. It’s a quiet life and we like it that way, just focusing on our own corner of Kookkal. If we aren't at the house, we're likely out by the treeline checking on the growth.
