Arth Agam Architects

Arth Agam Architects is situated on Sheddon Road in Ooty. This is a quiet part of the hills, which is a nice change of pace from the bigger cities. We’ve been here at the 643001 address for some time. Our work is mainly architecture, so we spend a lot of our time looking at land and figuring out how to put a building on it that makes sense. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it has a lot of character. We don't go for the modern glass-and-steel look. It’s a local place for local people. Most of our work comes from folks in the area who want to build something. We just sit down with a pencil and paper and start sketching. There’s no big pitch or sales talk here. We just show what we can do. The weather in Ooty can be a bit cold and damp, so we usually have some hot tea going while we work. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We like being on Sheddon Road because it’s easy for people to find us without being in the middle of the tourist rush. We just take it day by day. It’s a simple life, and we like the work we do. Arth Agam Architects is just us trying to do a good job in our hometown. We plan on being here for a long while yet.
