Hilwa Drinking Water

Working at Hilwa Drinking Water on V K Road keeps us all pretty busy. Nilambur is a nice place to be, and being on this road means we get to see a lot of the local traffic. We don't have a big corporate headquarters. It’s just a practical building where the water gets processed and put into bottles. You can usually hear the sound of the pumps and the bottles clinking together if you walk past. The floor is almost always a bit wet, which I guess is expected in this line of work. We wear boots and just get on with it. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream; we just provide water to the people around here. The team is made up of locals who know the area well. Sometimes the delivery truck acts up, or we have a slow day when the rain is heavy, but we usually manage to stay on schedule. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Most people find out about us just by seeing the building or talking to a neighbor. It’s a very basic setup, and that’s how we like it. We focus on the daily tasks like cleaning the filters and loading the crates. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s what we do. V K Road is a good spot for us, and we’re happy to be here.
