Star Handloom Fabrics

Star Handloom Fabrics is located at House No. 212 in the village of Sedha, which is part of Dhampur in the Bijnor district. This is not a big factory or some industrial unit. We work right from where we live. It is a very quiet place compared to the noisy cities. Most of what we do is traditional handloom work. We grew up watching our parents and grandparents do this, so it just felt natural for us to keep the tradition going. The village of Sedha is small, and everyone knows each other. We have our looms set up in the workspace, and you can hear the steady rhythm of the weaving throughout the day. It is a slow and careful process. We do not use big, loud machines. Everything is done by hand. The fabrics we make are simple and made to be used every day. We sell them to people in the nearby towns, and sometimes traders stop by to pick up whatever we have finished. Living and working in Bijnor means we are close to the fields and the open air. It is a good way to live. We do not have a website or a marketing team. If people like our fabric, they tell their neighbors. That is how we have always done things. We just focus on the threads.
