Martin Tour Travels

We are located right by Nigeen Lake, not too far from the Nigeen Club. Martin Tour Travels is basically a small cabin where we sit and wait for guests. Looking out at the water is probably the best part of the day, especially when the mist is hanging low over the lake. We help people arrange boat rides on the shikaras or find a decent place to stay nearby. It isn't a high-pressure business. We usually just sit outside on wooden chairs when the sun is out and talk to the other boatmen. In the winter, it gets incredibly cold, and we spend most of our time huddled around a small heater drinking salt tea. The sign for our place has seen better days and the paint is peeling a bit from the damp air off the lake. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a local operation. Most of our guests find us because they’re staying in the houseboats and ask around for a reliable way to see the sights. We know all the hidden spots around the lake that the big tour groups usually miss. It’s a quiet life for the most part, and we’ve been doing this for long enough that we don't really know any other way to spend our time.
