At Jdc Diagnostic Clinical Lab in Palode, we mostly deal with blood draws and urine samples all day. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what people in Palode need to figure out why they’re feeling off. We have a small waiting area with a few plastic chairs that have seen better days. The lab equipment is the most important part of the place, so we keep that in good shape even if the paint on the walls is peeling a little in the corners. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to hand-write some notes, but we get the information to you. It's a small team here. We know which patients are afraid of needles, so we try to be quick and talk to them about the weather or the local news to distract them. It's just a regular part of life here in Palode. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we're here. We do the tests, give the results, and that’s about it for our daily work.
