Dura Signs

We are located at Bj No. 26 in West Shalimar Bagh, right where the Monday Market happens. If you’ve ever been to the market, you probably walked right past our door. Dura Signs is a small operation where we put together boards and nameplates for people. We have a few cutters and some painting tools scattered around. It’s not the neatest shop in the world, but we know where everything is. There’s always a smell of paint or glue in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. We don't do big corporate branding projects. Most of our work is for small shops in the neighborhood or families wanting a nice plate for their new house. We use simple materials and try to get the letters straight. Sometimes a customer wants something really complicated and we have to tell them we just can’t do it with the tools we have. We prefer being honest about that. The Monday Market days are the craziest because of all the people outside, so we usually try to get our deliveries done early before the crowds arrive. It’s just a few of us here. We don't have titles like manager or director. We just do whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning the brushes or talking to a customer. We’ve been in Shalimar Bagh for a good while and we like the community here. It’s a busy, noisy life but it suits us fine.
