Wellmed International Industries (P) Ltd. is on the seventh floor of the Arunachal Building. The address is 19, Barakhamba Road, which is right in the middle of everything in New Delhi. Being in room 712 means we have a bit of a view of the other tall buildings around us. Barakhamba Road is always packed with people in suits and cars trying to find a spot. The elevators in the Arunachal Building can be slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. Inside our office, it looks like most other offices in this area. There are filing cabinets, some chairs that have seen better days, and desks covered in notes. We’ve been part of this corporate hub for a while. You can hear the city noise even all the way up on the seventh floor. It’s a fast-paced environment outside, but inside we just try to keep things organized. Wellmed International Industries (P) Ltd. has its own way of doing things. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. We focus on the tasks at hand. Most of us take the metro since the station is so close. It’s convenient for getting to work on time. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of air conditioning and old carpets. We spend our eight hours here and then head back into the Barakhamba traffic. It is a long day, but it is what it is.
