Our factory is over at A- 37 in the Group Industrial Area of Wazirpur. If you know Wazirpur, you know it’s full of metal works and small manufacturing units. We are right in the middle of all that noise and activity. It is a rough and ready kind of place, with trucks coming in and out all day long. Inside our unit, we have the machinery set up for our production work. It is loud and can get quite hot when the machines are running at full speed. We aren't a big corporation with a lobby; you walk straight into the workspace where the actual labor happens. Most of the guys here have been working these machines for years. We focus on getting the parts made and sent out on time. The floors are usually a bit oily and there’s metal scrap here and there, which is just part of the job. We share the lane with a lot of other similar industries, so we all know each other. Lunchtime usually involves sitting outside on some crates or heading to the local dhaba. We don't spend money on fancy office furniture because we’d rather keep the machines in good shape. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. People come to us because they know we are right here in the industrial area and we don't make things more complicated than they need to be.
