Warehousing, Logistics

Our place is called Warehousing, Logistics and we are situated at Zakir Nagar, Lane No 37 in Okhla, New Delhi. It is right in the middle of a very crowded area. Finding a parking spot near our building is almost impossible most days. We have been here for years and we know all the other business owners on the lane. We provide storage space and handle the movement of goods for various people. The warehouse is a plain building with tall shelves and a lot of concrete. It gets very cold in the winter and quite stuffy in the summer months. We do not have any marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just do the work as it comes in. Most of our clients are people from nearby who have been using us for a long time. We use a lot of handwritten notes and basic ledgers to keep track of everything. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works fine for us. We have a couple of workers who help move the heavy stuff around. We just try to keep things organized so we do not lose anything. It is a simple life and we are happy enough with how things are going in Okhla. There is always something that needs to be moved or sorted and we just get on with it until the day is done.
