Vmc The Kurta Shop is at No. 1532 Kathotia Bhawan in the middle of Subji Mandi. If you've ever been to this market, you know it’s always packed with people and vendors. Our shop is in an old building that has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. We have stacks of kurtas piled up on the counters and tucked into every available shelf. It’s hard to keep everything perfectly organized when people are coming in and out all day. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping him since I was a teenager. The walls have some marks on them from moving crates around, but we don't mind much. We have two old ceiling fans that make a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving. We don't have any big flashy signs or digital displays. It’s just the clothes and the people who come to buy them. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside to catch a bit of a breeze. The market noise is constant, from the vegetable sellers to the rickshaw horns. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s home for us. We know most of the other shop owners on this lane. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just show up, open the doors, and spend the day helping people find what they need. It's just a regular local shop in a busy market.
