We have our office at number 24 in Feroz Gandhi Nagar, which is part of Lajpat Nagar III. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s a bit of a maze with all the different blocks and houses. We’ve been in the book business for a long time, and this location has served us well. It’s not a shiny retail store with big windows; it’s more of a workspace where we handle the publishing side of things. We have bookshelves lining almost every wall, and they are usually packed tight with all sorts of titles. Some days it feels like we are drowning in paper, but we eventually get through it all. Lajpat Nagar III is a lively place to be, and there is always somewhere nearby to grab a quick bite when we are working late. We don't really do much in the way of marketing ourselves. We just focus on the books we are working on and getting them ready for people to read. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered and the phone doesn't stop ringing, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest publisher out there, just one that does honest work from our little corner of Feroz Gandhi Nagar. It’s a bit cramped and the air conditioning struggles in the summer heat, but we like it here and we plan on staying for a while longer.
