You can find Vikram Spare Parts over in Punjabi Market, which is part of Tilak Nagar. We are at Plot No. Wz-10A in A Block, right near Vishnu Garden. It is a very crowded market, full of people looking for all sorts of things for their cars and machines. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes I think we have too much stuff because it is hard to walk through the aisles. We know exactly where everything is, though. If you need a specific part, we can usually dig it out from under a pile in a few minutes. The neighborhood is always noisy with horns honking and people shouting. We keep the front of the shop open to the street, so we see everyone walking by. It gets dusty because of all the traffic, and we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. It isn't a high-end showroom. It's a place for people who need to fix something and need the part right now. We have a couple of stools for customers to sit on while we look for their items. We've been in Tilak Nagar for years and we know a lot of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the middle of the market action. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door, so we have to move the boxes back. People come in looking for parts for machines that were made thirty years ago, and we usually have a chance of finding what they need.
