Our office is located at C-08 in Gali Number 06, over in Mohan Baba Nagar, Badarpur. It’s a residential-looking street, but there’s always some kind of work going on. Badarpur is a tough area with a lot of dust from all the construction and the traffic on the main roads. We fit right in because construction is exactly what we do. We’ve got a small room where we keep our plans and talk to the laborers before they head out to a site. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a water cooler or fancy carpets. We have some plastic chairs and a table that’s seen better days. We handle small to medium building jobs around this part of the city. Usually, people find us by word of mouth because someone saw a wall we built or a roof we fixed. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on doing the job right so the neighbor asks who did it. It gets pretty loud with the kids playing in the street and the bikes zooming past the gali. We’ve been here for a few years now and we know most of the people on the block. It’s a straightforward business for straightforward people who need things built. We have a lot of muddy boots by the door, and the maps on the wall are starting to yellow at the edges. That's just how a real construction office looks.
